A bike ride before dinner is a great way to put an edge on the appetite – but how about a bike ride during dinner? One of the winners of the Design Now! 2009 competition, Anthony Hamilton-Smith, leads a bicycle tour from Object Gallery & Collect into the heart of Sydney’s inner city. BYO bike and helmet to participate in this mobile, pedal-powered kitchen, sharing a three-course meal along the way.
But it’s not just food on offer. Feed the mind with storytelling and skills sharing as you discover the world of history, transport and architecture right in the midst of Sydney. Get family, friends and neighbours together for the most unusual dinner you’ll ever experience. Hosted by Object: Australia Centre for Craft and Design, the eco-friendly ride-on-dinner is not only great fun, but it offers a chance to celebrate the design, architecture and cuisine of this eclectic city.
