See how good design can improve the life of a product and its afterlife with two evening lectures with Liane Rossler in conversation with Fenella Kernebone and Leyla Acaroglu

Life Cycle Thinking and the Design Industry, 5 August
Join Leyla Acaroglu (A-jar-a-loo) as she talks about innovative and inspiring ways to bring about change through design. She’ll make you think about the life of a design and the benefits of looking at the entire life cycle of products.

Leyla is a leading design led sustainability strategist. She is the founder and director of Eco Innovators, designer, social scientist, strategist and educator. She lectures at RMIT University and has been named one of Melbourne’s Top 100 People of Influence.

Liane Rossler in conversation with Fenella Kernebone, 12 August
Liane will discuss her practice as a Sydney-based designer and her work with Supercyclers with Fenella Kernebone. Supercyclers describe their project which launched in April 2011 as a banner for their investigations into reuse of waste materials and as a platform to profile other designers/designs that they felt were approaching issues of sustainability in worthwhile ways.
